Consumer Tribes

Published by Ohio Funeral Directors Association

Consumer Tribes: How Zoomers, Millennials and Generation Z Buy and How They are Challenging Your Sacred Cows was originally presented at the 2018 OFDA Convention.

The times they are a-changin’ and so are your customers! Each day you work with three very different tribes of consumers, each one with a very different approach to building relationships, trust and confidence.

During this presentation you’ll meet: Generation Z, the first fully digital generation of hyper connected multi-taskers who speak “slanguage” and don’t understand the concept of unplugging. They rely on heavily on friends, blogs and social medias before making a purchase; and the 50+ ZOOMERS, a combination of the Baby Boomers and the Greatest Generation, who have morphed into one huge group of consumers with deep pockets and special needs they won’t admit, but you need to know.

Through funeral industry focus groups and one-on-one interviews with clients like yours, Kizer and Bender will share what it takes to serve your unique customers. You’ll learn what each generation expects from a visit to your funeral home, and what they say drives them to your closest competitor.

OFDA Members: Please be cognizant that you cannot receive additional credit if you attended this seminar during the OFDA Convention in May.
